Renee + Alex - Wedding
Renee is one of my long-time friends, she actually babysat Eden for us when she turned one. Wedding photography is always so special, and I love it when I have the chance to work with couples that I know. As soon as Renee met Alex, I knew pretty quickly that he was definitely the guy for her.
Because of the pandemic, Renee and Alex decided to elope because, let’s face it, all of those restrictions made it pretty hard to wedding plan! In November, they got legally married with just an officiant, two witnesses and a friend to take some photos.
Once the pandemic restrictions eased, they decided to have a wedding celebration with all of their friends and family who weren’t able to be there for the legal ceremony.
Renee and Alex had their wedding celebration at La Fontana in Elora and it was absolutely amazing. Renee is a hobby chef and baker (she always does my kid’s birthday cakes!) and they chose this restaurant for the food—it definitely did not disappoint! Renee also hiked down the Elora gorge in her wedding dress to do first-look photos and it was truly stunning!
This wedding was so special and I was so happy to see that Renee and Alex got all those special wedding moments that they wanted to share with each other and those close to them. It was an honour for me to be able to capture the wedding of such amazing friends.
