Magical Autumn Scotsdale Farm Engagement Session - J+C

Jen and Chris’s engagement session at Scotsdale Farm was one of those sessions that just flowed. From the moment we started, their connection felt easy and unforced — the kind of calm, comfortable energy that makes documentary photography shine.

Scotsdale Farm was showing off in full Fall form. Golden fields, textured barns, and warm autumn light created the perfect backdrop as we wandered the property together. The season added so much character, but it never overshadowed what mattered most: Jen and Chris simply being themselves.

There was no stiff posing or overthinking — just natural movement, quiet moments, and plenty of laughter woven in between. This is exactly why fall engagement sessions are such a favourite. The colors are rich, the air feels softer, and everything slows down just enough to let real connection come through.

As a documentary wedding photographer, my goal is always to create space for moments like these — honest, relaxed, and timeless. Jen and Chris leaned into that fully, and Scotsdale Farm provided the perfect setting to let their story unfold naturally.
